A Walk With My Son

The other night I took little Andy (my almost three year old son) on a walk. Just me and him. As we were walking and holding hands he said "Dad, I needed to go on a walk so we could talk.". I said, "OK, what do we need to talk about?". He said, "Jesus". "Jesus?" I asked. "Yes, Jesus is my friend and He helps me.". I was pretty impressed! I said "That is right! Did you learn that at church?". "Yes" he said "I like church". I then asked "What should we talk about now buddy?". He said "We need to talk about Mommy's Jesus". "Mommy's Jesus?" I asked. "Yes, Mommy's Jesus". "Who is Mommy's Jesus?" I questioned. "Mommy's Jesus is God!" He exclaimed. "Wow!" I said, "you have grasped an elementary knowledge of the Trinity on your own!" I said as a proud father. :) We have no clue where he learned the idea that Jesus is God, but he picked it up somewhere! I love it! The church we attend does do object lessons even for the toddler class, so maybe it was there. Anyway, I better be cautious as to what I say around him, because he is learning!

On a lighter note... he said "Freakin' Eh" the other day, which I say a lot. :-( Oooopppsss.... It was VERY funny though!

PASTOR Jeremiah also taught him how to shake his booty. HAHAHA!!!
