Here are my top things that happened to me in 2007:
1. IT'S A GIRL!!!! That's right. Miranda and I are having our little princess in March 2008. her name will be Ainsley Marie Eden Gill. Ainsley is Scottish and it means "from the meadow". I am already very protective of her and want to do anything for her.
2. I transferred to Liberty University Distance Learning Program. I will graduate around the summer of 2010 with a Bachelors degree in religion.
3. One of the coolest things was where God brought Miranda and I to. At the beginning of the year, we both would have said that we wanted to finish a career in the Air Force and then go into full time ministry. I had a desire to go into full time ministry before getting out, but I told myself I wouldn't do it if Miranda wasn't on board 100%. I simply told God that if this is what you want for my life that He would have to change Miranda's desires. Long story short, it looks as if we will be getting out in 2010 and pursuing full time ministry as a pastor. Wow! It is an awesome story, but it's late and I don't have the time to tell it in it's entirety.
4. We went on a Caribbean Cruise! 7 days, Carnival Cruise Lines, Belize, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and the Bahamas! Amazing.
5. I got to spend about 6 months living in the same town as my sister and brother in law. With him in the Navy and me in the Air Force, that is next to impossible. It really was awesome to have her close by for a little. Their son Gabe and our son Andy got to know each other a lot more. Now the Navy is taking them to New York. Love you guys!
Well, that is at least the top 5 things that happened to me in 2007! I am sure 2008 will be even better! After all, my baby girl is coming this year!
