Well, it has been a couple of months since I have been on the road for work. I left today for a three day business trip to Augusta, GA and Macon, GA. I feel almost guilty at times when I am packing up my bags to go. I feel guilty because I look forward to the hotel hot tubs, free breakfasts, occasional social golf match, and well... the total lack of responsibility in the evenings... not to mention total domination of the TV remote. Then I receive a phone call from Miranda (My gorgeous wife) telling me of something funny or cute my son did or said, and I am right back there holding him and her in my arms. I love those two... wait three... sorry Ainsley (My unborn daughter). Wow! I gotta get use to that.
Anyway, Clinton won the New Hampshire Primary... I am not an Obama fan, but come one Barack! Look, I am not anti-Clinton... I just really do not believe in her policies. I come from a background that I think people should receive what they have earned. I couldn't afford to go to College and my grades didn't earn me a scholarship, so I looked at alternate sources of money and educational funding... the military! There are so many people that have figured out out welfare system to be a ticket to free handouts and an excuse to be unemployed. Some people in our country don't go out and seek employment because they get more free handouts from the Government by NOT working! Now she wants to go to this universal health care system a.k.a. Hillary-care, that is going to do one thing... make health providers less motivated to treat with quality because they get no more incentive to do so. I am not a political genius, but that is my take on it. If you think I have it wrong please inform me.
I saw "I Am Legend" today. Good flick, not the way I wanted it to end, but good flick. Also, did anyone else notice that they never showed his family dying in the helicopter... did they actually die? Also, in the movie, the viral outbreak happened in 2009, well I noticed a billboard in the background of the movie that was an advertisement for a Batman/Superman movie. It was the Superman symbol on top of the Batman symbol and underneath it had a 2009 release date. A little foreshadowing maybe? That would be cool. Speaking of Batman, there is another one coming out! And it had The Joker in it. The preview actually didn't spark my interest believe it or not. Anyway, I am out! Comment please! I like to know what my readers think.
