Wow... life is crazy!

So, I could go into a long explanation as to why I haven't blogged in... a while. But, it's a long story and let's just say at the end of the story, I realize how awesome God really is, and how he works His will out perfectly in our lives. Miranda and I have had a crazy few weeks that culminated with almost having a baby last week.

Miranda went into labor last Wednesday and was in labor for hours. At around 2 a.m. on Thursday morning she stopped. That's right, stopped. She had dilated all the way to 5 cm and was 80% effaced. Then at 2, Ainsley just said... "I ain't comin' out!"

Long story short, they had no choice (so they say) but to discharge Miranda and send her home until labor contractions start back up. Sheesh... it's almost been a week, and no baby girl. I am dying to see her!

On another note, how awesome are our friends here. I feel closer to them now then I ever have. You all know who you are! I am serious! They have got to be the coolest peeps on the planet. God is bringing us closer and closer each day. It truly saddens me that we only have a few months left here.

I am pumped for my family to come down to see Ainsley's dedication next months. We are going to have a packed house! I love my family! And my in-laws are the best. I hear people talk so badly about their in-laws, and I can't! They are actually cool! Imagine that!

Speaking of Ainsley's dedication! I found out that this is Pastor Jeremiah's first baby dedication! How cool! It is going to be so awesome! Intimate, but awesome! Thanks Pastor J!
